Liability for content

The content in this website has been selected with the greatest of care. However, we cannot guarantee the correctness, completeness or validity of the content. According to Section 7 paragraph 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we as a service provider are responsible for our own content on these web pages according to general law. According to Sections 8 and 10 of the Telemedia Act, we as a service provider are not under any obligation to monitor data transferred or stored or to investigate for any circumstances that may indicate illegal activity. This does not affect our obligation to remove or restrict the use of information according to general law. However, this responsibility only applies after we have become aware of actual illegal activity. On becoming aware of such violations, we shall immediately remove the offending content.

Liability for links

Our website contains links to external websites with content outside our sphere of influence. For this reason, we cannot accept any responsibility of this external content. The owners or webmasters alone are responsible for the content on their externally linked websites. We have checked linked sites for the possibility of illegal activity on linking them; there was no apparent illegal activity at the time. However, it would be unreasonable to demand permanent monitoring of linked external content without actual indications of illegal activity. We shall immediately remove links to the corresponding site on becoming aware of any illegal activity.

Copyright

The content and works of the webmaster on this website are subject to German copyright law. Any copying, processing, or distribution or any type of use outside the confines of copyright law shall require prior written approval of the author or creator concerned. Downloads and copies of this website are only permitted for private non-commercial use. The rights of third parties have been observed in content not created by the webmaster. Specifically, all content originating from third parties has been marked as such; however, we would appreciate it if you would inform us of any possible infringement you might notice. We shall immediately remove such content on becoming aware of the infringement.

Privacy

For the most part, this website may be used without disclosing personal information. If we do need to record your personal data such as your name, address, or e-mail address, we shall ensure that this remains on a voluntary basis as far as possible. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses what are referred to as cookies – text files that are stored on your computer to allow us to analyse how you use our website. Cookies store information on how you use our website, which is then usually transmitted to Google’s servers in the US for storage. In the case of IP anonymisation activation on this website, Google will truncate/anonymise the last octet of the IP address for member states of the European Union and European Economic Area. The full unabbreviated IP address will only be sent by Google servers in the USA in exceptional cases. Google will use this information to analyse how you use our website, compile reports on website activity and provide additional services involving website and Internet use as commissioned by this website’s webmaster. Google will not link your IP address in the Google Analytics service with any other data stored by Google. You may prevent your browser from storing cookies using the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, if you should choose to do so, note that you may not be able to use all the features of the website. You may also prevent Google from collecting and using data, including your IP address, from the cookie that Google creates by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

More details on terms of use and privacy policy can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

Note that Google Analytics on this website uses the gat._anonymizeIp(); function to ensure anonymised IP address collection using a method referred to as IP masking.
